Cancellation Policy

Booking Confirmation Submitting an order and making payment does not automatically guarantee the requested delivery dates. Your booking is confirmed only after Halifax Moving Bins Co. has reviewed your order and sent you a confirmation email. All bookings are subject to: Bin and equipment availability Delivery-area availability Accurate customer and delivery information Successful payment Acceptance of our rental terms If we cannot accommodate your requested dates or delivery location, you may choose alternate arrangements or receive a full refund. Payment Payment in full is required when booking unless Halifax Moving Bins Co. agrees to another arrangement in writing. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Any delivery charges, extended-rental charges or other fees will be disclosed before payment is completed. Customers will have an opportunity to review their package, dates, add-ons, delivery information, taxes and total price before submitting payment. Rental Period Our standard packages include a seven-calendar-day rental. The rental period begins on the scheduled delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date shown in your confirmation email. Additional weeks may be purchased when booking. Requests to extend an active rental are subject to availability and must be approved before the scheduled pickup date. Additional rental charges will apply. Keeping bins or equipment beyond the confirmed rental period without approval may result in additional rental and pickup charges. Delivery and Pickup Customers are responsible for providing: A complete and accurate delivery address A safe and accessible location for delivery and pickup Any building access instructions, unit numbers or entry codes A reliable phone number for delivery communication Someone aged 18 or older must be available unless an unattended delivery or pickup has been approved in advance. If delivery or pickup cannot be completed because the address or access information is incorrect, the property is inaccessible, or no approved person is available, an additional delivery or pickup fee may apply. Any additional charge will be communicated before another trip is scheduled. Delivery and pickup times are provided as estimated windows and may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
